The Church Amnesty International Group writes letters in support of prisoners of conscience.
As well as sharing news of prisoners of conscience, and any replies we have had to letters written, we plan any future activities. Most of our time is taken up with writing letters to those responsible for the detention of prisoners of conscience. Help and guidance is given to us from Amnesty’s website and magazine, so we are completely informed before putting pen to paper. We would welcome anyone who would like to join us at our meetings. No experience is necessary.
