The main business of this year’s General Assembly is the act of worship in which the new Assembly Moderators, the Revd Clare Downing and Peter Pay, and the new General Secretary, the Revd Dr John Bradbury, are inducted into their roles.

The event includes contributions from around the URC and from international and ecumenical partners, including Hannah Brock Womack, who was prevented from taking up the Fourth Presidency with Churches Together England, and the Revd Dr Barbara Glasson, Ex-President of the Methodist Conference.

This service is unique as it’s the first time the URC is holding it online today, from 10.30am to 12pm.
